The flipped classroom is one of the most validated ideas in higher-education pedagogy and one of the most commonly abandoned in practice. The literature is clear: pre-class video with embedded questions, then contact time spent on application, outperforms pure lecturing. The implementation gap is that the pre-class half needs verification — did they watch, did they understand — and the in-class half needs structure, or the seminar collapses into an unmoderated Q&A. Both needs are platform problems, and both are solvable.
The pre-class half: verified, not assumed #

After class, the applied problems post back to the platform as graded work, closing the loop between preparation and performance in one gradebook.
For departments, the economics are the argument. A lecture capture system records; a flipped platform verifies preparation and structures contact time. The same teaching hours produce measurably more application — and the analytics show it: preparation rates, misconception resolution, and assessment outcomes, per section, per term, exportable for accreditation files.
